Memories

I have so many memories of Amanda. I remember when she first moved out from her dads house, how scared she really was. She called me just before moving out and spoke with me about how she was feeling. How unhappy her life would become! Our phone calls to one another were so unlike those of when she lived with her dad, hard to hear Amanda at times from all the yelling and hollering in the background. She was always worried about how the bills would get paid, not enough money coming in to cover all the bills. As time went on it got to the point that I couldn't hear any happiness in her voice anymore. She had so much thrown at her, so much stress, so many harsh words from several different people coming at her, so much so that life seemed to be bringing her down, always someone fussing at her. The days that she'd stop by the house I remember thinking I couldn't see the sparkle in her eyes anymore, her beautiful smile slowly fading away. Although somehow she managed to stay focused on her schooling so she could have the career of her dreams. She wanted life to be good for her daughters, she wanted to offer them the world, she wanted so much for them to be happy and have the best of childhood that she could offer them. She would have gave her babies the moon if she could have. She loved her babies dearly as they were her strength, her reason, her life, her everything. No one can nor will love those babies more than their mother Amanda June Johnson Middleton.

Then came Kent the man of her dreams. She was in love, she was happy, she had excitement in her voice. She made a beautiful nest for herself and her babies. I had never heard Amanda so excited as she was when Kent came into her life. She had spunk in her voice, the sparkle in her eyes was back, the beautiful smile we all witness once again and more radiant than ever before.

Amanda's girl's lost their mother, how unfair at such a young age. Kent lost his wife and the life he had with the girls. My thoughts and prayers go out to Amanda's family, her girls, and the man of her dreams Kent Middleton. What a beautiful family they were!

I miss you Amanda! I miss our conversations in person and over the phone.

Thinking of you Amanda

I had you on my mind today as I usually do with each passing day, but more today than before. You were and are everything to us. Still hard to believe that you're really gone. Your presence I miss, your laughter I hear, your love I see spread about everywhere. I miss you today and everyday! I love you more than words can say!

I had a dream about your passing over to the other side and in that dream it looked a lot like the picture posted above. Someone taking your hand and guiding you to your new home as you leave your earthly home.
